Michael Drolet is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at TU Darmstadt, where he is a member of the Intelligent Autonomous Systems lab, under the supervision of Jan Peters and Oleg Arenz. He is interested in utilizing methods from reinforcement learning and imitation learning to advance the field of robot locomotion. Before starting his Ph.D., Michael received his Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Master’s in Mathematics at Arizona State University. Michael Drolet wrote his Master’s Thesis, “Probabilistic Methods for Imitation Learning in Social HRI”, under the supervision of Heni Ben Amor while at the Interactive Robotics Lab.
